10-Day Low-Carb Challenge

10 days. 10 missions. One goal: take back control of your eating habits, one day at a time.

Easy to follow No mandatory tracking Designed for real life
Your New Playing Field

What if 10 days were enough to change your momentum?

You do not need to count every calorie. You do not need to live on salad. And you do not need to aim for a “zero-carb” diet.

The idea is much simpler: for 10 days, significantly reduce sugar and refined carbohydrates, increase protein and vegetables, and observe what happens.

Every day becomes a small mission. Check off the day, move on to the next one and try to complete all 10 without giving up.

Your goal: lose weight, reduce cravings, manage your appetite more effectively and, above all, rebuild a simple eating structure.
The Rules of the Game

A formula that is easy to remember

For the next 10 days, build most of your meals around four elements.

🥩
Protein
+
🥦
Vegetables
+
🫒
Healthy Fats
+
💧
Water

The most important question: “Where is my protein?”

Significantly Reduce

  • Added sugar
  • Soft drinks
  • Juice
  • Pastries
  • Cookies & candy
  • Sweet chocolate
  • White bread
  • Bagels & muffins
  • Sugary cereal
  • Pasta
  • White rice
  • Potatoes & fries
  • Chips
  • Alcohol

Build Around

Eggs, chicken, fish, seafood, plain Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, tofu, lean meat or a protein supplement can become the foundation of a meal.

The goal is not to follow a ketogenic diet — it is to create 10 days that are much lower in refined carbohydrates than your usual diet.

Realistic Expectations

How much weight can you lose in 10 days?

The answer varies enormously. Your starting weight, usual diet, physical activity, carbohydrate and sodium intake, sleep, and many other factors all play a role.

0.5–2 kg
roughly 1 to 4 lb for some people over 10 days

When you significantly reduce carbohydrates, your body uses glycogen stores — which are stored with water — so part of the initial drop on the scale is water weight, not necessarily body fat.

A relatively lean person may lose much less. Someone at a higher starting weight, or someone who previously consumed a lot of refined carbohydrates, may see more movement on the scale.

A real win might look like this: −1.5 kg, fewer cravings, more energy and better control around food.
Before You Begin

Record your starting point

Tomorrow morning, before breakfast, record these five simple measurements. Put them away until the morning of day 11.

  • Weigh yourself.
  • Measure your waist at navel level.
  • Take front and side photos if you feel comfortable.
  • Rate your energy level out of 10.
  • Rate your usual hunger level out of 10.

Day01
Eliminate Added Sugar
No sugary drinks and as little added sugar as possible
Remove soft drinks, juice, heavily sweetened coffee, desserts, cookies, candy and sugary snacks.

Drink mainly water, sparkling water, unsweetened or lightly sweetened coffee, tea or herbal tea.

Breakfast

Vegetable omelet, cheese and coffee.

Lunch

Grilled chicken salad with vegetables, olive oil and vinegar.

Snack

Plain Greek yogurt or a low-sugar, protein-rich snack.

Dinner

Salmon, grilled vegetables and salad.

You are beginning to reduce a major source of calories that are easy to consume without feeling full.

Day02
A Protein-Rich Breakfast
Start your day with about 20 to 30 g of protein
Try 2–3 eggs with cottage cheese, Greek yogurt with a few berries, a vegetable omelet, a low-sugar protein breakfast or a protein smoothie with no added sugar.

Toast, jam, juice, muffins and sugary cereal can easily make breakfast very high in carbohydrates. For this challenge, change the formula.

Today, your plate formula is: Protein + Vegetables + Water.

Day03
Clear Out the Starches
Replace most starches with vegetables
Instead of chicken with a huge serving of rice, try chicken, sautéed vegetables, salad and a small serving of carbohydrates if needed.

You are now 30% of the way through the challenge. Look at what takes up a lot of space on your plate: bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. Today, those get replaced by more vegetables.

Day04
The Anti-Craving Challenge
Learn to recognize real hunger
If you are hungry between meals, choose a mostly protein-based snack: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, an egg, a small serving of nuts, a protein shake or a low-sugar protein snack. Then wait 10–15 minutes.

The goal is to learn to differentiate real hunger from the habit of eating. This skill can become far more important than any “miracle” food.

Day05
Halfway There
Do not change the plan because of what the scale says
Do 30 minutes of physical activity: brisk walk, cycling, gym, swimming or hiking. It does not matter what — just move.

You lost 1 kg? Excellent. You have lost almost nothing? Continue. Your weight can vary daily due to water, sodium, digestion and several other factors.

Bonus: Take a 10-minute walk after dinner.

Day06
Hydration Day
Make water your main drink
Keep a water bottle nearby all day and drink regularly according to your thirst and activity level.

When you change your diet, you sometimes forget something very simple: drink enough. Water can replace breakfast juice, a lunchtime soft drink or evening alcohol.

Simple. Not very glamorous. But incredibly effective for eliminating many liquid calories.

Day07
The Weekend Test
Make a better choice, not a perfect one
At a restaurant, use the protein + vegetables formula: steak and vegetables, fish and salad, grilled chicken, a bunless burger with salad, or tartare instead of a mountain of fries.

Restaurants. Drinks. Pizza. Wine. Dessert. Life goes on — the goal is not to stay locked at home for 10 days.

You do not need to be perfect. You simply need to make a better choice than the one you would normally make.

Day08
Go Pro
Combine everything you have learned
Complete five goals: protein at every meal, plenty of vegetables, no liquid sugar, very few refined carbohydrates and at least 30 minutes of movement.

If you complete all five, it is a perfect day. But remember: perfect here means consistent, not obsessive.

Day09
The Evening Challenge
After dinner, the kitchen is closed
If you are truly hungry later in the evening, choose something simple and protein-rich. Most importantly, observe your behaviour.

For many people, the day’s eating goes very well until 8 p.m. Then come the chips, cookies, chocolate, ice cream and second glass of wine.

Is it really hunger? Or is it boredom, television, stress or habit? You are beginning to understand why you eat, not just what you eat. That is powerful.

Day10
The Finale
Decide what you want to keep
Complete a full day using the formula: protein + vegetables + healthy fats + water + activity.

You have reached the final day. Do not undo it all by saying, “Tomorrow, I will go back to how I ate before.”

Then ask yourself: Am I less hungry than on day 1? Do I crave sugar less? Is my energy different? Do my clothes feel more comfortable? Which habits would be easy to keep?

Day 11

The moment of truth

Under the same conditions as your first measurement, weigh yourself and measure your waist.

Also compare what the scale cannot show

  • Your energy level
  • Your cravings
  • Your sleep
  • Your digestion
  • Your sense of control around food

The number on the scale is interesting, but it tells only part of the story. If you lost weight and discovered a way of eating that helps you manage hunger, the challenge accomplished its mission.

Your Final Score

One point for every completed day

10 / 10
🏆 Low-Carb Champion

You completed all ten days. Your next mission is to keep the best habits.

8 – 9 / 10
⭐ Excellent

A few detours did not erase your progress.

6 – 7 / 10
👍 Good Start

You learned a lot. Identify the difficult days and try again.

0 – 5 / 10
🔄 Play Again

This is not a failure. Start again and try to beat your first score.

What Happens After 10 Days?

Turn the experience into lasting habits

Do not turn day 11 into a food-reward day.

You do not need to eliminate carbohydrates forever. Fruit, legumes, whole grains and other foods containing carbohydrates can absolutely be part of a balanced diet. The idea is to keep what these ten days taught you.

  • Protein at breakfast
  • Vegetables at lunch and dinner
  • Less added sugar
  • Fewer liquid calories
  • Reasonable portions of starches
  • Snacks chosen according to hunger
  • More physical activity
