The results of a new research on weight maintenance have been published in the reputed International Journal of Obesity. (International Journal of Obesity).
Thirteen of the world’s most reputable researchers have worked together to identify which diet is best at keeping weight off after a low calorie diet.
They compared 5 different types of diets taking into account their protein content and sugars with low glycemic index.
After a year of observation, they concluded that a diet with a higher protein content ensured better weight loss.
They found no favorable effect of low glycemic index sugars on weight maintenance.
We are not surprised by these conclusions, we have been saying this for more than 30 years!
